About Earthen Roots

Helping you rebuild your sense of self through evidence-informed, nature-based practices that support psychological wellbeing, emotional resilience and a deeper connection with the natural world.

The Heart of Earthen Roots

The core promise of Earthen Roots is not simply to help you “feel better”.

It is to help you:

Reconnect with yourself

Reconnect with the natural world

Rebuild a stronger sense of identity through that relationship

Through Wilderness Therapy Interventions, nature-connected life coaching and seasonal practices, we help you strengthen those connections, build confidence and find your voice again.

Meet Fi...

I’m Fiona Green, a certified life coach, journal therapy coach and nature-based practitioner with a deep belief that the natural world can help us remember who we are.

My journey into this work began when spending time outdoors helped me recover from postnatal depression.

The more time I spent in nature, the more I became curious about why it helped so much.

That curiosity led me to study the science behind nature and mental health, from nervous system regulation and emotional grounding to the powerful role of connection and meaning in psychological wellbeing.

What began as a personal experience grew into years of training and practice.

Today, I combine life coaching, journaling, mindfulness, forest therapy and evidence-informed Wilderness Therapy Interventions to support people through change, uncertainty and disconnection.

Alongside Earthen Roots, I am also co-founder of Creative Wild Women CIC, a community interest company that creates accessible opportunities for people to reconnect with themselves, each other and the natural world through creativity and nature-based experiences.

I am currently training as a Wilderness Psychotherapist, continuing to deepen my understanding of how nature can support lasting psychological wellbeing.
